Nick Ares. “Untitled.” (n.d.) Digital photogram. I had no idea until I saw this tutorial that the photogram darkroom process could be recreated using digital camera.  Using high contrast images and Photoshop, the artist is able to invert images to create the characteristic look of a photogram.  Although I don’t think the digital version is nearly as interesting as the darkroom process, it is really cool to see artists like Ares experimenting with it.

photograms- can go into a point of contrast between harm and peace, the white acts out as innocence and the darker colours represents the harm, hatred appearing in the background.
