Hotdog Cookies 1 c butter 1/2 c icing sugar 1 tsp vanilla  2 c flour red food colouring Cream together butter,  sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Stir in the flour until smooth.  Into 1/3 of the mixture add red food colouring to make dogs. Chill 1 hr. Divide into 14, roll into logs. Make bun shapes with remaining dough, make a groove in centre, place in dog.  Bake 350 12-14 min.  Ice with red and yellow (1c icing sugar, 1tbsp meringue powder, water, colours)
