What goes under stone slab? Check out the full project I've got a small renovation project where I wanted to use a single slab of bluestone for the floor of a small alcove (61"x40"). Can I put the slab directly on the subfloor? I'm imagining if it isn't perfectly flat the slab might wobble or crack when someone walks on it. What would you normally put under it? I'd like to avoid having to pour a concrete base for it if at all possible. Don't Forget to Like Comment and Share…

Help: Replacing existing patio cost effectively Check out the full project HelloI own a duplex in which I live in one side. On my side the patio is wooden and is a liability. Many of the boards have given way. The supporting posts underneath are rotten. The patio itself is approximately 200 sq ft. What would be a cost effective way of replacing it and also have some years on it? Wood? Stone Slabs? Concrete?I'll be doing it myself. Don't Forget to Like Comment and Share…

looking for advice regarding cracked grout outside Check out the full project I have these stones around my concrete path in the backyard and since the concrete slab is much heavier and more stable the stones on the sides sink or raise depending on rain etc. Is there any type of grout that I could use that is somewhat flexible and doesn't crack like that?
