In Sutherland in the far north of Scotland, between the Kyle of Tongue and Loch Eriboll, this old house stands just off the main road on the edge of what seems to be an older road, being the only habitation for miles. It had been occupied (hopefully in better times) by a family by the name of Mackay according to my research..(Mackay being the clan in these parts.)
