Next New Order Album (it’s an anthology from Joy Division to New Order, plus one unreleased New Order track). Also a great article on the history of their album art work.

Joy Division. Post punk, new wave band with an ironic name. "Love Will Tear Us Apart" was one of their most commercially successful songs, but it was about Curtis' crumbling marriage. The title was a reference to, and antithesis of, the perky pop song "Love Will Keep Us Together." The band evolved into New Order after Ian Curtis committed suicide.

New Order. Born from the ashes of Joy Division, the band probably had the single best alternative dance song of the 1980's with "Bizarre Love Triangle." Their use of electronics, simple guitar riffs but melodic bass guitar lines gave them a very unique sound.
