soap aloes ... Interesting enough at first, but not the prettiest of aloes in bloom. Reminds me of the bloom on Kalanchoe daigremontia. Both bloom in our winter. If you plant them together, plant some color change or challenge succulents.
I really could not choose, so just put it all together and was stunned at how beautiful they all looked together!
Ti Plant, Red Sister (Cordyline Fruticosa) - A red ti plant cultivar. Full sun. Propagate by tip cuttings that include ~ 6in of the cane or by short lengths of the cane placed horizontally or vertically in the rooting medium. Pair with Croton, Ti Sherberts, Bromeliads, Liriope, and Bismarckia Palm or Roebelenii Palms.
The flowers and young leaves of most violets are edible. These have a nutty flavor that goes well as a garnish on fresh garden salads. The caterpillars of several butterfly species feed on the violet foliage, but the flowers themselves are not particularly attractive to insects.
