Man Ray Les Larmes (Glass tears) The model is in fact not a real woman but a fashion mannequin with glass bead tears on the cheeks. Here, again, Man Ray is exploring his interest in the real and unreal by challenging the meaning of still-life photography.

Triple spiral, celtic triskele is sometimes called the spiral of life.  It was found in Newgrange site in Bronze age (or older) Ireland.  It remained in Celtic  art for 3,000 years.  Celts believed all life moved in eternal cycles, regenerating at each point.  All important things came in three phases:  birth, death and rebirth.  Mind, body & spirit.

Fun - Apache.  Also known as Larry Fun. This famous photo of Geronimo taken in his stronghold down in Mexico before he surrendered.  The warrior at his side was called Fun. Not much is known about Fun or how he got his name, but it was said he was  the bravest of all Geronimo's warriors. Also, if you look closely he is in many of the more famous photos of Geronimo. After he was imprisoned with Geronimo in Ft Pickens, Florida, history obscurely records that FUN committed suicide, 1892.
