Vocabulary on the move. Each student has a word around their head or maybe a sticky note on their back. They have to go around the room and ask others for clues as to what their word is (synonym, antonym, example, definition, etc. ) they then use their clues to figure out their word.

Fun with personification in my fourth grade classroom today! I read the children's book, The Little Red Pen, which is filled with examples of personification, and then the students wrote their own sentences bringing an object to life. They loved it!
