The Pea Farm is an old prison located deep in the woods of South Shreveport. It was a place you did not want to be in the 40's and 50's. General Moters owns the land now but cannot sale it or build on it because anytime they have tried to uncover ground to build there have been bodies found. It is said to be haunted because of the beatings and killings of the prisoners.

Saint Valentine's Day Massacre, Chicago, IL - on Feb. 14, 1929, 7 men belonging to the Bugs Moran gang were gunned down by members of Al Capone's gang in a garage on the north side of Chicago. Since then the garage has been torn down and a park built in its place, but ghosts of the past remain. Visitors to the park have reported seeing strange lights and mist, disembodied men's voices and screaming, phantom gunshots, and a feeling of fear from both people and animals near the execution site.
The stories behind Mary's grave are ones of tragedy. The truth of the grave is unknown, sparking the birth of various legends. Some believe the grave is in Head of the Harbor. One tale says Mary was convicted as a witch, hung outside her home and buried nearby. Legend has it that when children visit the grave at night, Mary appears and kills them. Another tale says Mary committed suicide. Whatever the legend may be, Mary is real.
Jennie Wade House, Pennsylvania: Jennie Wade was the only civilian casualty of the Battle Of Gettysburg. An apparition of a young woman, presumed to be Jennie, has been seen around the house, who is apparently still baking bread, as the aroma of freshly baked bread delights the living. Her favorite perfume which was rose-scented is noticed as well by visitors and museum staff.
