I agree that as male geeks, we don't always give female geeks a chance (especially if they are good looking.) It is not fair. Please know that it is because of pretty girls faking interest in us or geek things in school only to make fun of us. Also know that as men, we constantly test each other to prove our geekiness. When we ask questions, we are doing the same thing we would if you were a guy. That said, it is wrong to alienate any geek based only on looks.
Oh boy, this is SOOO true! And many times, the books are better. Jurassic Park, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Planet of the Apes, The Invisible Man, Dracula, Jaws, Gulliver's Travels, The Black Stallion, Bambi, Pinnochio, Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, The Wizard of Oz, and so many others, are all books I've read.:
I don't agree with all of these (wasps/bees? Being buried alive? I mean I do fear these things, but how is that related to my being a Slytherin? Where'd that come from?), but definitely the failure, death, and being alone (though I think we're rather solitary).
Okay, no, you guys, because being multi fandom is kind of like being Divergent, because you have the aptitude for all of them and you love all of them equally, so if you're in the Divergent fandom and another fandom, you're Divergent, so we literally are our fandom. <<< this is so true
