Charlotte Braun: first appearance November 30, 1954. She was introduced as a female counterpart to Charlie Brown (a role later taken up by Sally). Charlotte has a very dominating personality, complete with obnoxious, loud-mouthed voice. She denies having anything in common with her wishy-washy near namesake, forcing Charlie Brown to shout in one strip, "You don't have to be so insistent!" The last of which was on February 1, 1955.
Shermy was one of the three earliest characters to appear the strip, appearing in the very first strip on October 1, 1950. However, he was not given a name until December 18, 1950. His major physical characteristic is his short dark hair, usually worn in a crew cut. In the early years of the strip, there were hints that he had a relationship with Patty.
Ethan first appeared on July 14, 1993, in the same summer camp as Charlie Brown. Ethan is Charlie Brown's bunk mate. In his first appearence, he shows Charlie Brown an arrow that he made in art class, describes it as an Indian arrow. The next day, he tells Charlie Brown he wants to be a newspaper columnist, because he has strong opinions about everything. He demonstrates by telling Charlie Brown he thinks the shirt he is wearing is stupid. Nothing more is seen of Ethan after that.
