The parasite mimics the movement of a gust of wind through a corridor. Like a breath of fresh air, the parasite provides the only space in the library to collaborate with others and conduct large group lectures.
A technical view shows of the front part of the library was cut. The sphere-like shape that was boolean differenced to create a sense of a "balling up" of the wind. (The "balling up" being a metaphor for the place where several gusts of wind, several ideas, come to one place.)
Extension of the parasite onto Schenley Park. This is meant to provide space for a new cafe and bookstore. It also serves as a connection from the park, a place to relax, to the library, a place to learn.
