This was one of my favourite hens.  Poor old Ginger Roger the local fox got her last autumn, along with the neighbours ducks, and at least 3 other neighbours' hens.

My lovely big, daft dog Dingo. He's mostly Australian cattle dog with a little collie thrown in for good measure. Very good at his job of rounding up the cattle but a bit over zealous when it comes to protecting his mommabiatch!

Hen Riettta is the mother of all, well mothers.  She hatches a brood, any brood (as you can see in the photo she has a duck tucked under her wing - this is probably Hoisin) then when they are big enough to fend for themselves she looks for more eggs to sit on!
