I love this recipe because it is so easy and it calls for hardly any ingredients, and I always have these ingredients in my pantry. This recipe came from a good friends mother, who was always asked to bake the ham for get-togethers and family dinners. Now I get those requests. People who ordinarily arent too fond of ham rave over this one. After I carve, I spoon a little of the glaze over the meat in the platter - yummmm!
Holiday Ham Recipe 1 spiral sliced ham cup fresh orange juice cup pear nectar ( you can find this in the alcohol mix section if its not in the juice section of the store) cup brown sugar cup maple syrup ( molasses is good too)
Rosemary herbed pork chops with shallot wine sauce - I used thin-cut boneless chops, and whole garlic and red onion in lieu of mini onions. 20 min in the oven. Paired with zucchini-quinoa cakes. Use Chardonnay wine with this
I found this recipe on one of those little leaflets that they pass out at the supermarket. Its a great way to use up leftover ham and a great family pleaser. Serve with lots of bread to soak up the sauce.
"Zesty Grilled Ham" This is my children's first choice of ham dishes. The mixture of sweet and tangy flavors is mouthwatering on a grilled piece of ham. Even the small ones eat adult-sized portions, so be sure to make plenty.
