We finally have both of the lamps and I am loving the symmetry!! I usually lean toward asymmetrical design but in this case I'm totally enjoying it. We had a little hiccup getting the second lamp. The colour blue brings to the mind a certain kind of tranquility. Imagine splashing the shades of your interiors with a sparkling blue of the sea or a spirited blue of the sky! A hint of blue with green gives a lovely turquoise blue shade.
Great idea for a guest room. One of the guest rooms will be our "blue plum" room with this color scheme- even with hanging lamps on each side of the bed! (And since its the guest room, we don't live to look at the purple all the time)
