A rare Worcester saucer circa 1765 Pencilled in black and heightened in red enamel and gilding with an extensive Chinese landscape including a series of buildings, sampans on a river and a boy on a buffalo in the foreground, 11.8cm diam FOOTNOTES Provenance: the Zorensky Collection, part 1, lot 53. This was probably made as a direct replacement for a Chinese prototype.

A rare Worcester beaker and a Chelsea saucer circa 1753-54 Both of octagonal form, the beaker painted in colours with flowering plants alternating with insects in flight, 5.6cm high the saucer carefully painted with flowers and insects in the Meissen style, 11.2cm diam (restored area to rim and another above the foot) (2) FOOTNOTES These rare octagonal beakers are related in form and decoration to the more familiar octagonal handled cups and were not sold with saucers.
