When all was said and done  both Kenny and I had ridden the bajezzus out of the NSR50R  won second place in the endurance race  and scored four overall podium finishes in our sprint classes. Wheels Through Time Photo of the Day- "Henderson Endurance Racer". In 1917, the Henderson Motorcycle Company hired Maldwin Jones to attempt a 24-hour endurance record attempt aboard this one-of-a-kind model. Eighty years later, Dale piloted the machine from L.A. to New York in 6 days and 4 hours, re-breaking a record set in 1917 aboard a similar bike.

LIKE pilgrims to some holy land, but tattooed and on two wheels, thousands of adventure motorcycling enthusiasts converge in Sturgis, South Dakota, USA every year to be part of one of the country’s largest and longest-running gatherings of bikers. Many of them ride for days, enduring miles of blistering sun, bouts of rain and the occasional mouthful of bugs before arriving in a cloud of dust at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
