Louisville International Airport is a public and military use public airport centrally located in the city of Louisville in Jefferson County, Kentucky, USA. The airport covers 1,200 acres (4.9 km²) and has three runways. The airport was the 2012 seventh busiest in the world by cargo traffic. Although it currently does not have regularly-scheduled international passenger flights, it is a port of entry, as it handles numerous international cargo flights.
