Pedro Albizu Campos - alleged that he was the subject of human radiation experiments. Dr. Damuy, preside of the Cuban cancer Association was allowed to examine him and concluded that burns on Albizu's body were caused by intense radiation. In 1994 the US Dept of Engergy admitted that radiation experiments had been conducted without consent on prisoners from 1950s to 70s.
Don Pedro Albizu Campos (September 12, 1891 – April 21, 1965) was a Puerto Rican patriot and the leading figure in the Puerto Rican independence movement. Albizu Campos was the president and spokesperson of the Puerto Rican Nationalist Party from 1930 until his death in the 1960s.
