A number of these decorative glass panels define the walkway in the Etihad Lounge at the Abu Dhabi airport. The strategically placed panels guide the pedestrian to various sections of the lounge without intruding on others using the various spaces. The decorative pattern also reflects a modern take on the traditional use of pattern in Arabic interiors, while the glass gives a lightness to the structures.
The horizontal timber cladding inside the Jimbo and Rex is another point of interest that reflects the facade treatment of the cafe and warms the space. The reclaimed timber juxtaposes against the smoother timber cladding of the booth seating.
