Don't talk just to say something. Really consider your words and whether or not they add real value.

Living the daily life with bodhicitta motivation ~ Lama Zopa http://justdharma.com/s/0dqoh The whole thing, so many practices, all come down to live the daily life with bodhicitta motivation to put all the effort in that whatever you do. This way your life doesn't get wasted and it becomes full of joy and happiness, with no regrets later, especially when you die and you can die with a smile outside and a smile in the heart. – Lama Zopa Rinpoche source…

"If we have met the holy Dharma we should feel so fortunate. Even though we might still create negative karma, we have the opportunity to purify it. With an understanding of karma and refuge, we have the opportunity to practice Dharma, and so we know there is a solution. " - Lama Zopa Rinpoche. From our latest book, 'How to Practice Dharma: Teachings on the Eight Worldly Dharmas' available now. http://www.lamayeshe.com/shorty/HTPD/

Of all the wonderful Buddhist teachers in the world today, Pema Chodron is one of the most popular. In my life, I probably listen to audio books by Pema almost as much as Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh and the Dalai Lama. If you know anyone who would enjoy listening to Pema talk about fear and fearlessness, please share this with them.

"The dissatisfied mind of desire has created the problems of life, which clings first of all to this life, seeking only the temporary happiness of this life, and then to these eight objects: having comfort, not having discomfort, receiving materials (such as friends and so forth), not liking not to receive materials, having a good reputation, not having a reputation, receiving praise, not having criticism." - Lama Zopa Rinpoche. http://www.lamayeshe.com/shorty/LZR/Nature-of-the-Mind/
