Classic French Pastry Cream  From "THE" Larousse Gastronomique        image: www.cooking-ez.com  1/2 cup flour  3/4 cup sugar  pinch of salt  1 tbsp butter, melted  4 large eggs  2 cups of milk  Maple version: add 1 tbsp maple syrup  Traditional: 1 tsp vanilla (this can also be 2 tsp liqueur if you wish)
