In Hedda Gabler, she and her husband George Tesman are coming back from their 6 month honeymoon. In the play George says a picture she is looking at is when they visited the Dolomites. This picture is of the swiss Dolomites. During her honeymoon Hedda is very bored and says her trip was "mortally Boring" and she couldn't wait to get back. This shows that she isn't truly in love with her husband.
