Steven T. Byington, spent 45 years working on a Bible translation that restored God's name to its rightful place. However, he could not find anyone to publish his translation during his lifetime. Sometime after his death in 1957, the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society acquired publishing rights and in 1972 The Bible in Living English was released. You can download it at www.jw.org. BTW, Byington was a Congregationalist, not one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
