"Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better." - Albert Einstein  _  Devil's Bridge Falls near Aberystwyth Wales United Kingdom.  _  Walked through the beautiful trail around the falls. Here the River Mynach drops 90 metres in 5 segments and ends up where I captured this shot.  _  When I sit and admire natural beauty like this it reminds me of Albert Einstein's quote.  _  Have you been to Wales before? The United Kingdom is made up of so many cities, but as we were heading to it's darkest and coldest days we only managed a small visit before heading back to the warmth of our eternal summers.

"Without deep reflection one knows from daily life that one exists for other people." - Albert Einstein  _  This shot of the mirror-smooth Bow Lake in Alberta Canada is a little late for #mondayblues - but hopefully it will inspire you for the coming week.  _  Out of all the beautiful places we saw in Alberta this would have to be my favourite. We pulled the car over on the side of the road and I slipped and slid down a steep snowy embankment to the water's edge to get as close as possible…

Hoodoo! _ Just south of Drumheller Alberta we discovered the Hoodoo Trail. These are sandstone stacks which have eroded to form this distinctive shape over many years. These are also known as "fairy chimneys" and if you've seen our photos from Cappadocia Turkey then this will look strangely familiar. _ Made it here just in time for sunset. After soaking up the view for half an hour we heard a distant coyote howl at the bright moon. Spectacular! _ #explorealberta @travelalberta #hoodoo

This beach gave me the heebies jeebies. A spooky tree graveyard littered the shoreline. Eerie wafting clouds emanated out of the ocean, like ghosts searching for new hosts. The thick, salty air was still. Everything around me was a symbolic marriage of death and beauty. This backdrop to the world-famous Twilight novel series was scarier in real life than any book or movie.
