DIY TERRARIUM :: Another cool DIY terrarium idea! (This Explorer Terrarium retails for $35!). A 7"x5" bottle w/ glass stopper is used (any glass bottle w/ a cork works fine!) & is filled with stones, soil, moss & a little plastic figurine. A stick is used to place items in through the narrow bottle neck. Keep out of direct sun & lightly mist every 2-4 wks! I'd use distilled water to avoid mineral build up or water spots & sprinkle a bit of activated charcoal below the soil to keep it fresh!
