cherry almond smoothie Ingredients 1 cup pitted cherries, fresh or frozen 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 2 teaspoon almond butter 1 teaspoon pure almond extract 1/2 teaspoon maca powder 1 cup unsweetened almond milk 6-8 ice cubes 1/2 teaspoon guar gum to enhance creaminess (optional) Instructions Place all ingredients in a blender except for the ice and guar gum. Blend until almost smooth. Add ice and guar gum, blend.
blueberry (or other fruit) muffin make-ahead smoothie Ingredients (1 smoothie) 1 1/2 cup almond milk 1/2 cup blueberries 2 tbsp regular oats 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tbsp vanilla protein powder 1 tbsp chia seed night before or at 4 hours in advance: combine all ingredients [but blueberries] in a glass or plastic container. Stir to combine and place in fridge. Morning: pour contents of container into blender, add blueberries & blend until smooth.
