As we head into the last few days of the collection Ive opted for something that will hopefully last a while and help pep up an ordinary sandwich a jar of apple and fig chutney as suggested by my local food bank as a Christmas extra treat.
Im feeding the four-legged woofy members of the family with todays donation a packet of dog treats. My local food bank has recently had a big delivery of dry dog food but not treats so I thought Id include them as Day item.
I love peanut butter. Any other peanut butter-lovers out there? You cant beat a tasty peanut butter and jam sandwich unless you add sliced banana and then its amazing! Its nutritious too. So thats another jar for my collection
Another day another post! For day 16 Ive added a small bag of sugar. As I mentioned a few posts ago and as my local food bank told me smaller bags of staples are much better than big size matters when youre carrying a food parcel home.
