We were always excited to get the JCP Christmas Catalog in the mail. We put our Christmas lists together from this and Sears Catalog

Co-op stamps, you got these for your grocery shopping and off the milkman, great sheets of them that you had to lick and stick in books, before handing them in to collect free things from your local Co-op.usually glasses.

waterbeds - this one looks like it has been overfilled! We bought ours in 1980 - a king-size bed to replace our full size standard bed. We suffered through ours for about 3 years before buying a standard mattress based king size bed.

Sears Christmas Wish Book 1974.  Oh how I loved when we got these! Hours of circling what I wanted for xmas. *sigh*...oh for the careless, stress free days of childhood.

My brother and I would spend hours every year going through the Sears Wish Book and then writing out our Christmas lists. We knew we hadn't been perfectly good all year, but we hoped that Santa would overlook that and bring us everything we asked for.

Gold Bond stamps we collected from the IGA and when the book or books were full, we would choose a gift.

book for collecting gold bond stamps - similar the green stamps, but not as popular. We gave them out at Les' Foodland in Luverne, MN and Nori would cash them at their store in Sioux Falls, SD.
