I try to remember this every day. And I try to remind others of the same. We are only here on earth for a short time. Remember that we are on earth with three things to accomplish. We are here to Teach, Learn and Love. Nothing else matters. Do Your Part.

Believe it or not, if your long runs are up to three miles, you're ready to train for a half-marathon. Running 13.1 miles might seem impossible now, but you will make it, as long as you take it one week—and one mile—at a time. With a positive mind-set, smart pacing, and strategic walk breaks, you'll be prepped to successfully complete a half by the end of October (like the Runner's World Half-Marathon & Festival).
