I'm always looking for ways to use scraps, so I'm pleased to have found a way that I like for using the bits left over from scrappy strip piecing.  The next picture is a close-up so you can see some of the strips.  Pictures & comments in Piecing 2015 Set 1.

By Laura F. - Not sure what she used, but looks like you could just cut strips of designer paper, weave them, and glue them onto the cardstock.
