‘A recent trip to Venice provided a perfect opportunity to witness some exemplary examples of classic Italian scaffolding. Palazzo Ducale, Castello, Cannaregio and the Basilica Di San Marco all exhibited wonderful displays of pipe, bolt and plastic webbing. A favourite was the famous Rialto Bridge that was fully shrouded, in and out, with this stunning representation. It was like I was actually there.’
