This album art by the band, The Zombies uses psychedelic typography that's very fitting with the late 1960's counterculture vibe. The misspelling of "odyssey" in the title was the result of a mistake by the designer of the LP cover, Terry Quirk. The band tried to cover this up by claiming the misspelling was intentional.
Mudhoney, Piece of Cake****: No offense to the sixties, but they wouldn't have been able to do anything like this. Just listening to the guitar solo on "Make It Now" should convince you of that, but really any track on this beats the shit out of psychedelic rock any day of the week. This is another argument for claiming Alternative music as being in a completely different genre than Boomer Rock n Roll. An excellent album in every way that could have only been done by Xers. 10/23/16
