The Mod Fashion (or the Modernist Fashion) was one of the first reigning style tribes of Britain in the 1960's. The style, popular among young people, embodied "elegance, long hair, granny glasses, and Edwardian finery" (McCloskey 1970). Mod made use of vividly-colored and well-tailored garments.
