Middleham Castle is a fascinating place to visit in the Yorkshire Dales. Once the childhood home of Richard III, relive the Castle's illustrious history and unlock the deeds of its great owners.

Sterling Castle: This castle sits atop Castle Hill at Sterling, Scotland at a crossing place of the River Forth.  There are cliffs on 3 sides making it a good defensive position.  Fortifications here may date from the 7-8th century but most of the current buildings are from the 15-17th centuries.  There have been 8 sieges of the castle and several Scottish kings and queens have been crowned here.

Stirling Castle shortlisted for Best UK Heritage Attraction. The landmark is the only Scottish attraction to have made the British Travel Awards shortlist.
