Dennis Farina-Law & Order actor Dennis Farina -- who also had roles in movies including Get Shorty, Snatch, and Midnight Run -- died on July 22 at age 69. TMZ reported the cause of death to be a blood clot in his lung. The star is survived by three sons from his marriage to ex-wife Patricia Farina, as well as two granddaughters and four grandsons.
Veteran actor Ed Lauter, who had a long career as a character actor in TV series including The Rockford Files and Miami Vice, died on Oct. 16, 2013 after battling mesothelioma, a rare form of cancer. The Shameless actor was 74 at the time of his death.
