Homemade Whole Wheat Sourdough Tortillas. A bit labour intensive, but oh, so, delicious. Celeste uses butter, re-activated starter (I do this in advance), seasalt (not table) is important, and do the milk (NOT water). Celeste's tip: I also use a hamburger press to get a consisent size and to get to a slimmer size. Just a much healthier alternative to the pre-packaged torilla shells!
Sourdough Pumpkin-Maple Cake- this was surprisingly good. I liked the texture when it had cooled down. I added two packets of stevia, used an extra large egg, added chopped toasted pecans and added lots more spice- cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. I made in three mini loaf pans.
