Solliden Palace, on Oland Island off the southern coast of Sweden. Solliden is the summer residence of the Swedish Royal Family. Designed by architect Torben Grut  in the "Italian style" for Crown Princess Viktoria in 1906, King Carl XVI inherited it upon the death of his great-grandfather, King Gustav V in 1950.

Solliden Palace, is the summer residence of the Swedish Royal Family and the personal private property of King Carl XVI Gustaf. The palace is situated near the Borgholm Castle ruin on the island of Öland in southern Sweden along its Balitic coast.
