Reproduction German WWII Silver Wound Badge- The 1939 Wound Badge was instituted by Hitler on September 1, 1939. It was to recognize and honor the individuals who were wounded in combat for the Fatherland. The Silver badge was issued for 3rdt and 4th wounds.  These are die-struck badges with L/40 maker mark. Very nice quality and well detailed badge.
