Russian sports couple took all the podium at the European Championships in Budapest Russian figure skaters Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov for the third time in a row won the European Championships in figure skating, silver and bronze also went to the Russians.
The two top spots on the podium at the ISU Figure Skating Grand Prix in the Russian Black Sea resort city of Sochi went to the home athletes. Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov enjoyed a confident lead after the short program, and even two falls in the free skate couldn’t prevent them from snatching the gold medals with 204.55 points. The Russians also bagged the silver on the night, thanks to Vera Bazarova and Yury Larionov, who produced their best-ever free skate result.
Designer Bella Potemkina presented on the catwalk luxurious dresses made in Russian style. The main star of the show was the daughter of the famous Olympic champion Tatiana Navka. 15-year-old Alexandra opened the show, coming to the main metropolitan podium in an elegant evening gown colors of the Russian flag.
