Hawaiki Nui Va’a  Is considered the Tour de France of Polynesia.  This is a grueling 3 day outrigger canoe distance race from island to island ending in Bora Bora.  Hundreds of boats follow about 100 canoes in support and it is broadcast live on national television.  Finishing the race is a true celebration of accomplishment for the racers and their families. Lei’s and Hinano’s are abundant as everyone chills out in the clear waters of Matira Beach.
