This is a cake I did for a little girls 2nd birthday. The head of the cake is a 10" round and the ears are 6" round cakes that I trimed to fit the shape of the head. The sides and face are buttercream, and the facial features and ears are done in fondant. - i really wonder if i can pull something like this off

Minnie Mouse cake: I started with 1-12" cake and 2-6" cakes. I baked, filled and placed the 12 inch on my board. I had my husband draw out a Minnie Mouse head on a paper for me. I trimmed the cake to get the shape of the head before attaching the ears. I then attached the 2-6" cakes as the ears. I frosted the cake as a whole with buttercream, placed in the freezer for about 30 mins to harden up. Next, I rolled . . .

Made for a friends little girls 2nd birthday. All decorations made from fondant and gumpaste. Designed from the invitation. TFL!
