The 3 dimensional packaging creates a wonderful sense of movement. The illustrations are surreal and evoke enquiry and interest. Whilst the label is extremely restrained a fantastical tone is created in the opaque blue layering.
Bread Gnome What can we say? This is an adorable bread gnome. You eat his hat, which would be rude if he were a real gnome, but he's actually just an imaginary gnome that's been printed on a bread bag. (Yes, there ARE real gnomes, get over it.
Times New Roman by Pedro Javier Arbelaez. This poster in particular is a favorite of mine. I assume this poster goes through the history of Times New Roman. What's great is that Times New Roman is the only typeface used here.
size and scale could be important and relevant to the subject matter of the zine. Now THAT's a newspaper! I love how his paper goes against some "type rules" but does it effectively and makes for a very interesting and different design.
