Villa Amelie - Somewhere in France. This home, more modest in appearance than many of its time is mysterious. Some of the rooms like the above picture appear to have been ransacked--some strewn with paper and pictures as though effort was made to find something. Other rooms look almost livable with a little dusting up--or is this staged? Folded linens on shelves, comforts folded on beds, chairs awaiting visitors, grand piano standing by regally. Wish I knew.
Jolly old St. Nicolas, lean your ear this way. Don't you tell a single soul what I'm going to say. Christmas Eve is coming soon, now you dear, old man, whisper what you'll bring to me. Tell me if you can. Johnny wants a pair of skates. Susie wants a dolly. Nellie wants a story book. She thinks dolls are folly.
