circa 2006 These two beads were some early results from experiments I did with colour transparency in polymer clay. I used overlapping shapes to explore the concepts of cumulative hue, value, and saturation. Both the technique and the design take advantage of polymer clay's ability to be mixed precisely in small batches with very specific mathematical ratios.
