Descanso Forest - California   Beautiful trees...some huge old Oaks at Descanso Gardens, near La Canada.  Lovely Flower gardens, old roses...and in the Spring, hundreds of Camellias bloom.  So relaxing to wander the trails...  Used to have special Christmas displays with art goods and plants, wonder if they still do.   A favorite place.

Apparently this tree can be invasive and doesn't produce strong wood, so be sure to do your research before you plant anything :)
