Maureen O'Hara. B.1920. Active 1938-2000. Beautiful red-headed Irish actress usually played strong independent women, and she worked in several great movies with John Wayne or directed by John Ford. She was also a singer and actually took over and ran an airline when her husband was killed in a crash in 1978. A wonderful actress who has given us pleasure for over 60 years.
