The flying shot of our favorite national bird Peacock was clicked while i was near a dam in Lucknow where i find a Peacock on the other side of river. I got an intuition that today i will get my dram shot of flying national bird and set my camera Nikon D750 clubbed with Nikon 200-500mm lens and set speed of 1/1250 sec. with spot metering and 3D capture Mode to avoid loss of any motion during the shot on burst mode. And Finally got the beautiful shot.

Happy 69th Independence Day to all the Indians out there! Going from left to right, the national flower (a lotus), national bird (peacock), national anthem, and finally the national animal (tiger). The thumb (inset) has mehendi or henna, which forms a big part of many traditions in India. My favourites would definitely be the henna and the tiger print. Oh, and yes, my nails are square again.. changed the shape on a whim..
