Live and Let Die - PAUL McCARTNEY & WINGS. 'Live and Let Die' Settling in with his new band, Wings, McCartney was invited to contribute a theme song to the next film in the James Bond franchise. It's another trademark McCartney mini-symphony with orchestral audacity, the familiar ballad-y breakdown ("When you were young . . ."), even a bit of ersatz reggae.

Paul McCartney and Linda with their band Wings. // Linda making a face at the camera. She was into PUNK ROCK -- One of her best friends (& another vegetarian) was Chrissie Hynde of The PRetnders. At SNL -- during rehearsal -- Linda told me -- She WAS punk rock in Wings!! She gave the sassy out of tune / i can't play - i don't care - attitude ... What a fantastic person. Took me by surprise. So let's put LINDA in the Punk File !! YEAHHH

Wings pose for a casino-inspired photo in 1974 (pictured Linda McCartney, Denny Laine, Sir Paul McCartney: Jimmy McCulloch and Joe English). Arrowsmith said of the images: 'They really capture the seminal moments of the shoot... The fun we were all having, plus Paul and Linda's closeness, it's the naturalness of the pictures that is the key to their success'
