Evans House, / 9914 South Longwood Drive, Chicago IL / 1908 / Prairie / Frank Lloyd Wright -- Though the Raymond Evans House was originally faced in stucco, not concrete, the design is identical in appearance to that of “A Fireproof House for $5,000”, but with two wings flanking the central massing of the house instead of a single wing in the article’s sketches. The synthetic stones that now cover the house were not of Wright’s doing.
